Wedding Timelines
These timelines are what we have found to be very successful. They allow for plenty of time for people to be a little late and yet enough time to get creative, fun and relaxed photographs. This time line is for an average amount of Attendants, if you have a large bridal party please add time.

Traditional Timeline
45 Minutes-Start with groom and his men
- We do the men first because they can get comfortable and relax much easier then the bride.
- Groom and Groomsmen Should almost be ready when photographers arrive.
- You might tell the groomsman to be ready 15 minutes prior because they do tend to be late.
1hr 15 min- For bride and bridesmaid
- Do not forget if you would like pictures of the dress hanging and other wedding apparel before you put it on, don’t put it on until after we arrive
- Please have all bridesmaids dressed and ready for photography.
30 min.- We like to have 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony to photograph Ceremony area. This allows us to get beautiful photographs of this area before people pollute the site.
Ceremony
Receiving line. If you choose to do a receiving line add around 20-30 minutes to your time line.
45 minutes - Family Formals
- This allows for plenty of time to find all family members and organize them without a rush and get them to the party.
- This also allows for some beautiful shots of the bride and groom in ceremony area.
- Please appoint someone (other then yourself) to organize all family members who need to be in formal family portraits, This ensures nobody gets missed.
15-30 minutes- Couple formals
- If you desire extra creativel photographs in a unique location you need to plan for it.
Untraditional Timeline
This time line is for brides and grooms who plan on doing a majority of their photographs before the wedding. This also means most everyone is getting ready at the same location.
Based on a 2 hour time frame (Before wedding)
- 30 Min. Photo Groom and Men
- 30 Min. Photo Bride and Girls
We then set up a special meeting for the bride and groom to spend a few quite moments together before we begin other photos. This can be a really special time and get really romantic photographs.
1hr Do all formals of bridal party, Bride and Groom, and any Family that are present
30 Min Prior to wedding we need to be free to photograph the wedding area (church, garden, etc…)
